Charlottesville, Va. - The No. 10 Virginia men's golf team makes its initial appearance at the Jim West Intercollegiate April 7-8 at the par-72, 7,438-yard TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas. The 54-hole event features two rounds of play Monday following by a single round Tuesday.

The field for the tournament includes Iowa State, Florida Gulf Coast, Central Arkansas, UL Monroe, UT Arlington, Sam Houston, Houston Baptist, Stephen F. Austin, Arkansas Little Rock, Oral Roberts, Florida Atlantic, McNeese State and host Texas State.

Virginia's lineup will include Derek Bard, David Pastore, Ben Rusch, Jimmy Stanger and Denny McCarthy. Ji Soo Park will compete as a non-scoring individual.

McCarthy leads the team with a 71.10 stroke average and enters the event ranked No. 25 in the Golfweek standings. Bard is No. 71 in the standings and Rusch is No. 85.
