Greensboro, NC - Virginia freshman golfer Conrad Von Borsig has been named to the 2006 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Men's Golf Team as announced today by Commissioner John D. Swofford.

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.

Last year Von Borsig appeared in nine tournaments and posted a stroke average of 74.33. He opened the season by being UVa's top finisher (17th place) at the Tour of Champions. Von Borsig is a native of Swarthmore, Pa.
