Virginia to Participate in Turtle Bay Intercollegiate

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The University of Virginia men's golf team will participate in the Turtle Bay Intercollegiate, hosted by Hawaii. The 18-team tourney gets underway on Monday, Nov. 1 with 18 holes. Play continues on Tuesday, Nov. 2 and Wednesday, Nov. 3 with 18 holes each day. All rounds will be played at the par 72 Links at Kuilima in Kahuku, Hawaii. Rounds 1 and 3 will be played on the Arnold Palmer Course, while Round 2 will be played on the George Fazio Course.

South Carolina captured the 2003 Turtle Bay Intercollegiate team title with a 891, while Virginia placed third from the field of 17. USC's Robert Svensson won medalist honors with a two-under 214. UVa's Kevin O'Connell (Potomac, Md.) tied for fourth with a 219 (+3).
