Charlottesville, Va. - Virginia men’s golf coach Bowen Sargent announced today the signing of a two-man recruiting class of top junior golfers who will join the Cavalier program next fall. The class includes David Morgan of Naples, Fla., and Jack Montague of Manakin-Sabot, Va.
“We are honored to have attracted two, quality young men in David and Jack,” Sargent said. “Both have a strong desire to achieve academic and athletic success during their four years at UVA. Each will arrive in Charlottesville with success at the junior golf and men’s amateur level and that will serve them well as they start competing next fall. We appreciate David and Jack’s passion for the University and our golf program, we would like to thank them for having confidence in our staff, athletic department and university to further their educational and athletic goals.”
