“One of the more versatile players in the program, Will is capable of playing many roles for us.  First and foremost, he will serve as one of our three captains.  Will’s teammates see him as both an inspiring role model who can overcome obstacles, as well as a thoughtful, father-like figure.  On the field, he is valuable at both ends of it.  Will’s on-ball defensive skills and schematic comprehension are matched by his offensively dynamic traits.  He will play in the two-way midfielder role for us this spring.”
