CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Virginia men's lacrosse head coach Dom Starsia makes a cameo in the major motion picture Crooked Arrows, which opens in theatres nationwide today.

Crooked Arrows is a story centered on a Native American lacrosse team making its way through a prep school league tournament. The plot synopsis describes the story about how a mixed-blood Native American, Joe Logan, eager to modernize his reservation, must first prove himself to his father, the traditionalist Tribal Chairman, by rediscovering his spirit. He is tasked with coaching the reservations high school lacrosse team, which competes against the better-equipped and better-trained players of the elite Prep School League.

Starsia and various coaches make a cameo for the movie's climatic final game. Including Starsia, John Desko (Syracuse), Lars Tiffany (Brown), Chris Wojcik (Harvard) and Gary Gait (Syracuse) are among the cameos.
