Gabe Bernstein is in his third season as the operations assistant for the UVa men's soccer team. Bernstein's responsibilities include overseeing the general welfare of the Virginia men's soccer student-athletes and assisting the coaching staff with day to day soccer operations and all aspects of video editing and analysis.

He earned his master of education degree in athletic counseling from Springfield College in 2008 and his bachelor's degree in athletic administration from Penn State in 2004.

Bernstein played college soccer for the Nittany Lions, captaining the team his junior and senior year while also earning Academic All-Big Ten honors. Bernstein played two seasons of professional soccer in the United Soccer League for the Charleston Battery and the Pittsburgh Riverhounds from 2004-06.

Bernstein is a former academic coordinator on the University of Virginia academic affairs staff and worked with the UVa men's soccer program from 2008-09.
