Youthful Soccer Team Ready for On-the-Job Training

• Started 15 games this season
• Returned to action Oct. 29 vs. BC after missing six matches with injury suffered in Clemson game (9/30)
• Named to Hokie Invitational All-Tournament Team (9/2-4)
• Scored game-winning goal against Richmond (8/29)
• Added assist on Will Bates' second goal in win over UR
• Played the full match in 11 of his 15 games
• Named to All-ACC Academic Soccer Team and ACC Academic Honor Roll

• One of three Cavaliers to start all 20 matches
• Scored two goals and tied the team-high with four assists (eight points)
• Both goals were game-winners
• Also added a game-winning assist (vs. Wake Forest at the ACC Tournament)
• Converted a penalty kick and had an assist against Liberty (Oct. 4) to give Virginia the 2-1 win
• Scored the Cavaliers' lone goal at Clemson (Sept. 25) to lift UVa to victory

• Appeared in 20 games, starting 10
• Finished the season with a goal and an assist, both game-winning
• Scored his first goal as a Cavalier in the 2009 NCAA Tournament third round match vs. Portland, giving UVa the 1-0 victory (Nov. 29)
• Assist came on Neil Barlow's game-winning goal vs. Mount St. Mary's (Sept. 15)

High School
• Four-year letterman and three-year captain at Indian River High School under coach Keith Freeman
• A three-time All-Southeastern District and two-time All-Eastern Region selection, tallying 35 goals and 40 assists for his career
• As a senior, was selected as the Southeastern District's Player of the Year, in addition to earning All-Tidewater and All-State honors
• Also awarded the team's Academic Award, Leadership Award, Sportsmanship Award and Team MVP Award throughout his career
• Played for Virginia Rush Soccer Club Development Academy and Chesapeake Select Soccer Club
• Was his high school's valedictorian

• Parents are George and Treci Dimas
• Graduated last May with double major in sociology and philosophy; earned University's Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award for character and service (presented to two graduating seniors)
