Virginia Men's Soccer Defeats American, 2-1

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Freshman midfielder Chris Albright (Philadelphia, Pa.) scored the game-winning goal with just over three minutes remaining in the second overtime period as the second-seeded University of Virginia men's soccer team defeated seventh-seeded American 2-1 in an NCAA Tournament quarterfinal game at Kloeckner Stadium.

Virginia Head Coach George Gelnovatch watched his Cavaliers advance to the NCAA Seminfinals.
