Men's Soccer Hosts Liberty Thursday at 5 p.m.


CHARLOTTESVILLE – The 2009 NCAA Champion Virginia men’s soccer team will be in action on Thursday, April 8, at Klöckner Stadium. The Cavaliers host Liberty at 5 p.m.

Thursday’s match is UVa’s only home contest of the spring season. Admission is free.

The Cavaliers finished the 2009 season on a 16-game unbeaten streak and claimed the NCAA Championship with a 3-2 penalty kick shootout win over Akron in the title game. Virginia finished with a 19-3-3 overall record after also claiming the ACC Tournament title.
