Due to construction and tennis matches this weekend, parking will be limited at the McArthur Squash Center. Fans are encouraged to arrive early.

The home tournament will feature 12 teams, including several programs from the ACC. The Virginia men’s team will compete against Richmond, Vanderbilt, North Carolina, Duke and Boston College, while the Cavalier women’s team will play against John Hopkins, California, Fordham, Boston College and North Carolina.

Virginia holds the lone ranking in the top 25 of the College Squash Association’s latest poll. The Cavalier women (7-8) are ranked 12th, recording their highest ranking in program history, while the men’s team (10-6) tied its top ranking of 14th, previously recording the placement earlier this season.

The men enter the tournament after defeating No. 13 Brown, 5-4, No. 19 Williams, 7-2, No. 21 Middlebury, 5-4, and No. 22 MIT, 7-2, last weekend. Freshman William Braff (Locust Valley, N.Y.) and sophomore Harrison Kapp (Philadelphia, Pa.) finished the matches undefeated. Braff captured four wins, while Kapp went 3-0. Kapp did not play in the match against Middlebury.

The women’s team edged No. 11 Williams, 5-4, in addition to topping No. 13 Middlebury, 8-1, and No. 21 Wesleyan, 8-1. The team fell to No. 12 Brown, 6-3. Sophomore Sarah Doss (Richmond, Va.) led the Cavaliers, recording a win in all four matches.
