Alhaqbani and Romualdez Playing in Challenger Qualifying

Two Cavaliers will face one another in first round qualifying on Saturday at the Boars Head

2017-18

  • Made his collegiate debut in prequalifying at the Saint Francis ITA All-American, downing Arkansas' Alex Reco 6-1, 6-2 in the consolation tournament to pick up his first collegiate victory (Sept. 30)
  • Went 3-1 in doubles with partner Aswin Lizen at the Farnsworth Invitational, winning the A-draw consolation bracket (Oct. 8)
  • Competed in singles and doubles at the ITA Atlantic Regional, advancing to the Round of 32 in singles and the Round of 16 in doubles (Oct. 23)
  • Went 8-5 in singles in the fall

  • Played in Davis Cup Group IV for Saudi Arabia, going 5-0 in singles with wins against Singapore, Cambodia, Mynamar, Kyrgyzstan and Bahrain, also going 2-1 in doubles (4/8)
