The Cavaliers also welcome a top-five recruiting class with five newcomers on the squad. A pair of players are ranked nationally in singles with freshman Rosie Johanson (Abbotsford, British Columbia) and sophomore Meghan Kelley (Falmouth, Maine) ranked No. 79 and No. 124, respectively.

Virginia's women open the 2017 season at home on Saturday, Jan. 21, hosting Boston College at 11 a.m. at the Boar's Head Sports Club.
