CHARLOTTESVILLE - Past and present members of the Virginia men's tennis team will be in action in Charlottesville over the next week as the Boar's Head Sports Club hosts the Virginia National Bank Men's Pro Championship. All six Cavalier alumni currently playing professionally will be competing in the ATP Challenger Tour event, as will several current players.

The main draw is headlined by Somdev Devvarman, the 2007 and 2008 NCAA Singles Champion. Currently ranked No. 84 in the world, he has been as high as No. 62 in the ATP rankings this year. Joining Devvarman in the main draw are 2011 graduates Sanam Singh and Michael Shabaz.

The doubles draw will feature Treat Huey and Dom Inglot. Huey is currently ranked No. 60 in the world in doubles, while Inglot reached the third round of doubles at Wimbledon in 2010.

Huey, Inglot and Teddy Angelinos will all be in action in the qualifying singles draw. Joining them will be several current Cavaliers, including Alex Domijan, Mitchell Frank and Jarmere Jenkins.

Qualifying play is Saturday and Sunday with main draw play beginning on Monday.
