Three Cavaliers Advance To Southern Scuffle Semifinals

Virginia has five wrestlers looking to place as wrestling continues Tuesday in Chattanooga

2017-18
Posted a 13-15 record, including a 7-7 mark in dual competition at 197 pounds
Tallied four bonus-point victories on the season, including a fall, a tech fall and two major decisions
Went 2-2 at the Southern Scuffle (1/1-2), including a win over then No. 16 Nathan Traxler of Stanford

2016-17
Posted a 19-11 record competing unattached as a redshirt at 197 pounds
Went 8-1 in matches decided by fall, 1-0 in tech falls and 3-2 in major decisions
Finished fourth at the Clarion Open (11/6), falling to teammate Tyler Love
Finished third at the Cyclone Open (12/4) with a 4-1 record
Finished third at the Cleveland State Open (12/17) with a 4-1 record
