Wrestled No. 5 seed Zach Sanders of Minnesota with opportunity to earn All-America honors but fell 6-5 (had cradle locked up in third period before Sanders got loose and reversed him for deciding points)
Finished as ACC runner-up, losing to Virginia Tech's Jarrod Garnett in overtime
His lone ACC loss came in sudden victory time to Garnett (Snyder held an 8-0 lead in the match)
