AT VIRGINIA: 2011-12 • Went 16-9 while competing unattached in open tournaments • Placed in three of six tournaments in which he competed • Took fourth at Shorty Hitchcock Classic (1/15) and Edinboro Open (2/11) • Went 7-1, came through consolation bracket to place at Shorty Hitchcock Classic • Placed fifth at Mat Town Open (11/26)

PERSONAL • Parents are Rick and Debbie Wesley • Has one sister, Rachel • His grandfather (Armond Taylor) and two uncles (John and Chris Taylor) wrestled at Virginia Tech, while another uncle (Mike Taylor) wrestled at Old Dominion; his aunt (TJ Taylor) played field hockey at Virginia; cousin Chris Taylor played on the UVa baseball team
