Seventh-ranked Matt Snyder (R-Sr., Lewistown, Pa.) snagged the Cavaliers' top win of the day with a 7-1 decision over then-No. 14 Nick Soto of Chattanooga at 125 pounds; Soto went on to win the Hokie Open the following day.

Joe Spisak (R-So., Boiling Springs, Pa.), Derek Valenti (R-Sr., Newton, N.J.), Jedd Moore (R-Sr., Mount Vernon, Ohio), Nick Sulzer (R-So., Cleveland, Ohio), Jon Fausey (R-Jr., Dalmatia, Pa.) and Stephen Doty (R-Jr., St. Louis, Mo.) also won two matches apiece.
