CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 24 Virginia wrestling team (4-2) will close the 2016 portion of the season on Wednesday (Dec. 21) night in a neutral-site dual match with George Mason. Dubbed the “Rumble on the River”, the meet is hosted by the St. Christopher School in Richmond at 7:30 p.m.

The event, which is held in Scott Gymnasium, will honor Quent Alcorn who was a former St. Christopher’s School alum and student at Virginia. For result updates, follow @UVAWrestling on Twitter.

Cavaliers In The Rankings:
Three Cavaliers are in the latest edition of the national rankings with Jack Mueller (Dallas, Texas), George DiCamillo (Highland Heights, Ohio) and Andrew Atkinson (Lynchburg, Va.) all finding themselves among the nation’s top wrestlers in their respective weight classes.

Up Next For The Cavaliers:
