Hadley Zeavin was named administrative assistant for Virginia women's basketball in June 2011 and was promoted to assistant director of women's basketball operations in the summer of 2013.
Zeavin (pronounced zee-vin) joined the UVa staff after serving as the director of women's basketball operations at George Washington from 2008-10. While at GW, Zeavin coordinated all aspects of team travel, budget and practice scheduling and supervised the team managers.
Prior to her stint at George Washington, Zeavin was the video coordinator for the WNBA's Detroit Shock from 2006-08, including the franchise's WNBA Championship season in 2006. Zeavin handled film exchange, assisted with scouting and performed operations duties such as travel and scheduling of road practices and shootarounds.
Zeavin earned her master of arts in sport and exercise management from Ohio State in 2008 and served as an intern and tutor with the Buckeyes' Student-Athlete Support Services Office while working toward her degree.
Zeavin spent four seasons as an undergraduate team manager with Vanderbilt's women's basketball program from 2003-07, including serving as the team's head manager during the 2006-07 season. The Commodores posted a 99-33 overall record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament in each of Zeavin's four seasons, highlighted by back-to-back Sweet Sixteen appearances in 2004 and 2005.
Zeavin earned her bachelor of arts degree in sociology and women's and gender studies from Vanderbilt in 2007.
