James Rogol was named video coordinator for Virginia women's basketball in June 2011. Virginia finished the 2011-12 season with a 25-11 overall record, the most wins since a 25-win season in 1999-2000. The Cavaliers advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2012 Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT).

Rogol came to Virginia after serving as the women's basketball video coordinator at California from 2008-11. While on head coach Joanne Boyle's staff at Cal, Rogol created and produced video features and game stories for CalBears.com, SoBerkeley.com and the team's YouTube channel. In addition, Rogol was responsible for all elements of film exchange and video analysis.

Prior to his time at Cal, Rogol worked in the video services department of his alma mater, UVa. As a producer/editor, Rogol coordinated production of live events and shot and edited packages for Cavalier Sports Weekly.

Rogol has experience as a freelance videographer for such networks as Fox, CBS College Sports and MASN. He is a 2006 graduate of Virginia and earned a bachelor of arts degree with distinction in Russian and European Studies.
