Lexie Gerson earned her second ACC All-Defensive Team honor

March 10, 2014

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The Virginia women's basketball team's redshirt senior guard Lexie Gerson (Fort Washington, Pa.) was named to the five-member 2013-14 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Defensive Team, as announced today by Commissioner John Swofford.

After sitting out the 2012-13 season recovering from hip surgery, Gerson returned to the court for her delayed senior season, averaging 2.6 steals per game, which ranked 25th in the nation and second in the ACC.
