ACC Releases Women's Basketball Conference Schedule

2012-13 Virginia ACC Schedule

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the league's women's basketball conference schedule for the 2012-13 season. The league will announce each school's non-conference schedule at a later date once the ACC's regional television partners have made their selections.

The 2012-13 season is the first year the ACC will feature an 18-game league slate. The Cavaliers will play seven schools home-and-away (Boston College, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Miami, NC State, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest), two schools only at home (Duke, Florida State) and two schools only on the road (North Carolina, Clemson).

The schedule features five games that will be broadcast on regional sports networks, two on the ESPN3 digital platform and the home contest on Sunday, Feb. 17 against Maryland will be televised by ESPN2.

The 2013 ACC Tournament will be held March 6-10 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C.

Season tickets for the 2012-13 Virginia women's basketball season are now on sale. Season tickets include seating for UVa's 15 home games at John Paul Jones Arena and are available in reserved and general admission areas.

Reserved season tickets are $100 for adults and $75 for youth (18 and under), seniors (60 and over) and UVa faculty and staff. General admission season tickets are $85 for adults and $65 for youth, seniors and UVa faculty and staff. Reserved season tickets include savings of 33 to 50 percent off the single-game ticket price and general admission season tickets provide savings of 29 percent off the single-game ticket price.

Every season ticket holder will receive a complimentary general admission season parking pass valid for the West lot (located adjacent to the John Paul Jones Arena main entrance). Season ticket holders are also eligible to purchase a reserved season parking pass for $50. The priority ordering deadline is Sept. 14.
