CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The Virginia men's and women's basketball programs announced today a schedule of preseason events open to the public at John Paul Jones Arena. Admission is free to all preseason events.
On Friday, Oct. 19, the men's basketball team will hold an intrasquad scrimmage from 5:30-6:15 p.m. at John Paul Jones Arena. Gates open at 5 p.m.
On Sunday, Oct. 21, the men's basketball team will hold a Meet the Team event and open house from 4-5:30 p.m. Fans will have an opportunity to meet the players and tour the practice court, locker rooms, weight room, video services office, and dining hall at John Paul Jones Arena.
The women's basketball team will hold a similar open house event on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 2-4 p.m. This event will include an open practice and an opportunity to tour the women's basketball practice court and locker rooms in addition to the weight room, video services office, and dining hall.
Season tickets for both men's and women's basketball are on sale now. Men's basketball season tickets are available at four price levels from $165-$435.
Women's basketball reserved seat season tickets are $100 for adults and $75 for youth, seniors, and UVa faculty and staff. Women's basketball general admissions season tickets are $85 for adults and $65 for youth, seniors, and UVa faculty and staff.
Men's and women's basketball mini-packages are now on sale.
Three men's basketball mini-packages are available. The tip-off package includes a ticket to Virginia's first three games of the season:
Tickets may be purchased by contacting the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-542-UVA1 (8821). Fans can also purchase tickets online at VirginiaSports.com or in-person at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium.
