CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Five Cavaliers were named to the 2013 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Field Hockey Team, as announced by Commissioner John Swofford.

Senior midfielder Hadley Bell (Shaker Heights, Ohio) and junior goalkeeper Jenny Johnstone (Paisley, Scotland) earned the third All-ACC Academic honor of their careers. Senior back Katie Robinson (Mount Joy, Pa.) was named to the team for the second-straight year. Junior back Kelsey LeBlanc (Haverford, Pa.) and freshman forward Caleigh Foust (Bryn Mawr, Pa.) earned their first career honor.

To be eligible for consideration for the ACC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.

The ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, which was awarded to North Carolina's Loren Shealy, was established in September 2007 to be awarded annually to the top junior or senior student-athlete in their respective sports.
