"I am extremely excited to welcome Shawn Hindy to the Virginia staff," Madison said. "Shawn brings an vast array of coaching and playing experiences to field. He was a tough competitor as a player and will thrive on the competitiveness in the ACC, which is the premier conference in America. He will manage the defensive unit and provide overall technical development. He has coached at the high school, club, DI, and national level, which I think truly demonstrates his dedication and broad perspective on the sport."
