CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The No. 10 Virginia field hockey team (8-5, 2-2 ACC) will play at William & Mary (5-6, 2-1 CAA) on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 5 p.m. at Busch Field in Williamsburg, Va. Live stats will be available through a link posted on VirginiaSports.com.

The Cavaliers are coming off a 3-2 overtime loss on Friday at No. 3 North Carolina. Senior Lucy Hyams (Whitstable, England) and junior Tara Vittese (Cherry Hill, N.J.) scored a goal apiece and also each contributed an assist. The two are tied for the team lead with 19 points apiece.

Vittese, last week's Longstreth/NFHCA National Offensive Player of the Week, has scored a goal in each of the last four games, with 11 points in that same span. Hyams has scored at least one goal in four of the last five games, including scoring twice in the win over Wake Forest.

William & Mary is playing its second game in a stretch of four games in eight days and is coming off a 3-1 victory on Sunday at Northeastern. Cammie Lloyd leads the team with 23 points on 10 goals and three assists.

The Cavaliers hold a 28-16-2 advantage in the all-time series. William & Mary's last win in the series came in 2013 in Charlottesville when the unranked Tribe upset No. 5 UVA, 2-1. The Cavaliers have not lost in Williamsburg since 2003.
