CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Virginia will host North Carolina on Sunday as the two teams tangle for the second time this season. UNC took the first battle 1-0 and this matchup looks as tough as the first one was. Last year in Charlottesville the Hoos took the rematch 2-1 after losing the opener 3-0 in Chapel Hill.

Cheering for Shell!: Michelle Vizzuso, one of our assistant coaches, was named the Player of the CENTURY in field hockey. The Newark Star-Ledger tapped the USA team member as the state's best player in the 1900's.

Jumpin for Jess!: Jess Coleman has notched the game-winning goal or assist in eight of the Cavaliers' nine wins this season. Her 36 points leads the team and ranks her third all-time in school history for scoring as a sophomore. Her 14 goals ties her for fourth all-time as a second-year. Coleman was also named one of the top-10 field hockey players of the century for the state of New Jersey.

Crazy for Carrie: Carrie Goodloe has 12 assists this season, which ranks third all-time as a sophomore at UVA.

High Five for Lo!: Laura Lindsay's 8 assists this season give her 37 for her career, which ranks third all-time. Two more and she will move into second-place all-time at Virginia.

Looking Ahead:
Dueling with the Dukes: The Cavaliers host the scrappy Dukes on Wednesday. Virginia leads the all-time series 21-9-1, but the Dukes have taken four of the last six, including a huge 2-1 upset last year. JMU enters the game on a two-game losing streak.
