Cavalier Golfers in 15th Place at Bryant National Collegiate

Browns Summit, NC - The No. 12 Virginia women's golf team is in 15th place after 36 holes of play at the Bryan National Collegiate in Browns Summit, N.C. Virginia shot 18-over 306 Saturday for a two-day total of 610. Florida State leads the field at 579 while Wake Forest is second at 580.

Freshman Brittany Altomare leads the Cavalier contingent in 11th place at 2-over 146. She shot 2-over 74 Saturday. Calle Nielson is 45th at 152, including a 77 during the second round. Lauren Greenlief is 64th at 156, Nicole Agnello is 69th at 157 and Whitney Neuhauser is 78th at 158. Greenlief posted a 76 in the second round while Agnello and Neuhauser both finished at 7-over 79. Carly Truitt, playing as a non-scoring individual, shot 80 for the second straight day and is in 82nd place at 160.

Wake Forest golfers Michelle Shin and Cheyenne Woods share the lead at 5-under 139.
