Altomare and Brightwell Start Play at Collegiate Team Championships

Dahlonega, GA - The Virginia duo of Brittany Altomare and Elizabeth Brightwell are tied for sixth place after the first round of play at the Women's Collegiate Team Championship at Achasta, By Reynolds. During the opeing round of alternate shot format, the UVa tandem shot 1-under 71. They trail the team of Alabama players Brooke Pancake and Jennifer Kirby by three shots.

The second round of the three-day event takes place Wednesday and will feature a best ball format.
