Virginia Shares Lead at Golfweek Conference Challenge

Vail, CO - The 11th-ranked Virginia women's golf team is tied with Tulane following the opening round of play at the Golfweek Conference Challenge taking place at Red Sky Golf Club in Vail, Colo. The Cavaliers and Green Wave shot 1-under 287.

Virginia's Brittany Altomare is tied for first place at 3-under 69 following the opening 18 holes. UNLV's Therese Koelbaek also shot 69.

Altomare was one of three UVa players to finish in the top 10 after Sunday's first round. Lauren Greenlief is tied for third at 70 and Calle Nielson is tied for 10th at 72. Nicole Agnello shot 76 and is in 34th place. Eleana Collins carded a 77 and is 45th.
