UVa To Host 1997 ACC Men's And Women's Lacrosse Tournaments
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va--The University of Virginia will host the 1997 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) men's and women's lacrosse tournaments April 18-20.
The semifinals of the men's tournament are scheduled for April 18 at Klockner Stadium with the games to begin at 6:00 and 8:30 p.m.
The semifinals of the women's tournament are scheduled for April 19 on Virginia's University Hall Artificial Turf Field with the games to begin at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.
The championship games for both tournaments are on April 20 with the women's game on the artificial turf field beginning at 12:30 p.m. and the men's game at Klockner Stadium beginning at 3:30 p.m. Both games are scheduled to be televised by HTS.
Tickets for the tournament will be available through the Virginia athletic ticket office beginning March 3.
Duke, Maryland, North Carolina and Virginia will have teams competing in both tournaments. It's the first ACC Women's Lacrosse Tournament.
