Virginia Women's Lacrosse: All-Americans

Kendall McBrearty is in her second season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Virginia women's lacrosse program.

During her time as a Cavalier goalkeeper, Virginia recorded three-straight ACC Championships and made four NCAA Tournament appearances, including two national runner-up finishes - 2005 and 2007. McBrearty was named the MVP of the ACC Tournament in both 2007 and 2008.

En route to earning All-America honors in 2008, McBrearty led the ACC in goals against average (7.25) and save percentage (.502), ranking fourth and ninth nationally, respectively. She finished her career ranking eighth in UVa's career records for saves (331) and ninth for goals against average (7.60).

McBrearty is a 2008 graduate of UVa's College of Arts and Sciences with a degree in sociology. Since graduation, McBrearty has remained actively involved in the lacrosse world, serving as the goalie coach at Yale University and is a member of the US Women's National Team.
