Josie Owen Named To ACC All-Tournament Team

DURHAM, N.C. - At the conclusion of the 2012 ACC Women's Lacrosse ACC Tournament, Virginia senior attacker Josie Owen (Gibson Island, Md.) was named to the ACC All-Tournament Team.

Owen scored two goals and dished out an assist in the Cavaliers' quarterfinal victory over Boston College and followed up that performance with a three-goal, two-assist effort vs. North Carolina in the semifinals.

Owen is UVa's leader in points (76), goals (41), assists (35) and draw controls (40) heading into the Cavaliers' regular-season finale at No. 1 Northwestern on April 28. She was named to the All-ACC team in 2012 and was the ACC Offensive Player of the Week on March 27.
