Oct. 3, 2012

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The Virginia women's lacrosse team hosts James Madison on Wednesday night, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m. at Turf Field.

The scrimmage is Virginia's second home exhibition contest of the fall. The team will play three contests in Washington D.C. on Sunday, Oct. 14 before closing out the fall scrimmages by hosting William & Mary on Oct. 17.

The scrimmages are part of the fall training schedule for the team. The games are exhibitions with neither the results or stats counting. Individual game box scores and recaps will not be available, but a complete summary of "fall ball" will be posted once fall practices have concluded.

Admission is free for the scrimmages and fans are invited to attend to get a sneak peak at the 2013 team.
