CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Virginia announced its 2014 women's lacrosse schedule which features nine regular-season home games and includes contests against 10 opponents that played in the 2013 NCAA Tournament, including all four national semifinalist.
"Our 2014 schedule is loaded with the best teams in collegiate women's lacrosse," said head coach Julie Myers. "We will be consistently tested at home as six of our nine home games will feature NCAA tournament teams including the 2013 NCAA champion and the national runners-up. The road will be a challenge as well as we will face the other two final four teams among several other top-10 programs. We've worked hard in the offseason and look forward to the challenge of the season beginning in early February."
