The Cavaliers' Varsity Eight finishes as the top collegiate boat for third consecutive year

At UVa: Member of the first varsity 8+ which placed 10th at 2002 NCAAs ... gold medalist with first varsity 8+ which was named conference Crew of the Year at the 2002 ACC Championships ... member of second varsity 8+ which placed fourth at 2001 NCAAs ... gold medalist at 2001 ACC Championships. High School: Four-time letter winner in cross country and swimming ... two-time letter winner in outdoor track ... also lettered in indoor track ... captain of cross country, swimming and track teams ... first-team academic all-state cross country performer ... four-time state competitor and MVP in cross country ... treasurer, National Honor Society.
