2010-11 • Named a CRCA first team All-American • Earned first team CRCA All-South Region honors • Named to the All-ACC team after the Cavaliers won their 11th conference championship • Shared the Coach's Award for Excellence at the team's annual banquet • Stroke seat of the Varsity Eight for the entire spring season, including the crew's victory in the petite final of the NCAA Championships • In that race, UVa (6:33.24) edged Yale (6:33.83) to finish seventh overall • A member of the Varsity Eight that won its grand final and heat at the Oak Ridge Invitational and was subsequently named the ACC Crew of the Week on May 17 • Varsity Eight won the ACC Championship in a time of 6:23.9 • Regular-season victories in the Varsity Eight also included UCLA, Michigan State, Ohio State and Michigan
2009-10 • The 2010 ACC Freshman of the Year • A member of the Varsity Eight for the entire spring season, including their silver medal finish at the 2010 NCAA Championships • A member of the South/Central Regional Champion and ACC Champion Varsity Eight that was also named ACC Crew of the Year and ACC Crew of the Week twice • Defeated regular-season opponents Pennsylvania, Yale, Michigan, Ohio State and Bucknell with the Varsity Eight • Won the prestigious Jessop-Whittier Cup at the San Diego Crew Classic with the Varsity Eight
