CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The Virginia women's rowing team will host Michigan State in a scrimmage at Hungry Mother State Park in Marion on Saturday, March 10.

Competition begins at 9 a.m. The teams are expected to race in the varsity eight, second varsity eight, varsity four, second varsity four, third varsity four, novice eight, and second novice eight.

The Cavaliers closed their fall season with first-place finishes in the varsity eight and novice eight competitions at the Rivanna Romp in November.

Virginia hosts the Canadian National Team in scrimmage action on Saturday, March 17 at the Rivanna Reservoir before opening its spring season with Michigan and Ohio State on March 31 at Lake Monticello.
