CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The Virginia women's varsity eight crew is ranked No. 7 nationally in this week's poll, the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association announced on Wednesday.

Brown, which earned 11 of the 25 first-place votes, moved up two spots to No. 1. Southern Cal, which also earned 11 first-place votes, jumped six places to No. 2. Ohio State, which upset second-ranked Virginia last weekend, moved up one spot to No. 3. Yale, California, Princeton, Virginia, Stanford, UCLA, and Washington rounded out the Top 10.

The No. 7 Cavaliers host Central Florida, Duke, and No. 20 Michigan State on Saturday, April 7 at Lake Monticello. Action begins at 9 a.m.
