CHARLOTTESVILLE - The University of Virginia women's rowing team will head south instead of north the weekend of May 17-18. The Cavaliers were originally scheduled to compete in the Eastern Sprints in Camden, N.J., on May 18, but the schedule has changed and UVa will now compete in the Central/South Region Sprints in Oak Ridge, Tenn., May 17-18.

Virginia has not competed since rowing against Radcliffe, Yale and Texas in Cambridge, Mass., on April 26.
