UVA Rowing to Compete in Three Fall Regattas

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The Virginia rowing program will compete in three fall regattas, head coach Kevin Sauer announced Tuesday (Sept. 12).

The Cavaliers travel to The Head of The Charles on Sunday, Oct. 22 and Princeton Chase on Sunday, Oct. 29 before hosting their annual Rivanna Romp on Sunday, Nov. 12.

In 2017, UVA won its eighth straight ACC title and placed 11th at the NCAA Championships in West Township, N.J.

Sauer has guided the Cavaliers to 17 ACC championships and two NCAA titles in 22 seasons leading the program. UVA welcomes new assistant coaches Emily Ford and Erin Neppel for the 2017-18 season.
