• The Cavaliers and Gators played three scoreless 30-minute periods at the WakeMed Soccer Park. Virginia had the better chances, but couldn't find a game-winning goal.

• Virginia played to a 1-1 with NWSL club Washington Freedom at the Maryland SoccerPlex. Alexis Shafferscored early for the Cavaliers to give them a 1-0 lead, but the Spirit equalized with a goal from Toni Pressley.

April 4, Charlottesville, Va.

• Virginia and Georgetown played a 1-1 tie at Klöckner Stadium. Makenzy Doniak scored in the first half to give the Cavaliers the lead, but Daphne Corboz answered with a second half goal for the Hoyas.

April 10, Richmond, Va.

• Virginia recorded its first win of the spring, downing ACC rival Duke 1-0 in Richmond. Morgan Reuther scored for the Cavaliers off an assist by Brittany Ratcliffe
