2011 (FRESHMAN SEASON) • Made 48 starts: 35 at third, 13 as the DP and 11 in the circle • Hit .227 with 18 RBI • Recorded three home runs • Hit first collegiate home run in 3-1 win at North Carolina (April 3) • Went 3-for-4 with two RBI vs. Delaware State (April 13) • Was 2-for-3 in 6-0 upset of top-seeded Georgia Tech in the ACC Championship (May 13) • Earned five wins as the No. 2 pitcher on the staff • Collected first collegiate win vs. Utah (Feb 24) • Threw a complete game against No. 11 Oregon in UVa's 3-2 upset (March 4) • Tallied season-best four strikeouts in win vs. Princeton (March 12)
