TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- No. 4 seed Virginia picked up victory number two in the Atlantic Coast Conference Softball Tournament with a 2-1 upset over top-seeded North Carolina this evening at Lady Seminole Field. Virginia is now 37-26 while UNC falls to 30-19.

As in game one, the Cavaliers jumped to a first-inning advantage and never relinquished the lead. Two Tar Heel errors contributed to the two UVA runs. Each team recorded just three hits in the game.
