ROCK HILL, S.C.—The Virginia softball team will play at UNC Greensboro Sunday (March 3) after action at the Winthrop Combat Invitational was cancelled due to snow in Rock Hill, S.C. The Cavaliers (8-7) will play the Spartans in a single game at 1:30 p.m. in Greensboro, N.C.

UVa defeated Winthrop and Rhode Island on Friday. The Cavaliers were scheduled to play Hartford and UNC Greensboro on Saturday and Furman on Sunday.

Virginia opens its home schedule with a doubleheader against Seton Hall Wednesday (March 6) at 2 p.m.
