Softball Series Opener Moved to 2 p.m.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – First pitch in Virginia’s series-opening game against Louisville today (April 28) has been moved up to 2 p.m. The game will air on ACC Network Extra as originally planned.

The game time had previously switched from 6 p.m. to 4 p.m. but game officials decided Friday morning to move the start time up an additional two hours to avoid any potential inclement weather.

Virginia (21-29, 8-13 ACC) comes into the series winners of its last seven games. The series for Louisville (26-17, 9-7 ACC) will be the final regular season home games before concluding the year at N.C. State next weekend.
