CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.—The 2013 Virginia softball fall schedule has been released, first-year head coach Blake Miller announced Thursday (Sept. 5).
The Cavaliers will open fall play in the Virginia Fall Collegiate Military Appreciation Tournament Sept. 28-29 in Troutville, Va. On Sept. 28, Virginia will face Longwood at noon and Radford at 2:30, while on Sept. 29, UVa will play James Madison at noon and Liberty at 2:30.
Virginia will close out its fall schedule with a doubleheader against Liberty on Oct. 12. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. Admission at The Park will be free to the public.
The Cavaliers will return 10 players from the 2013 squad that finished 21-28.
