CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The Virginia softball team hosts George Mason in an exhibition doubleheader on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 12 p.m. at The Park. Admission is free. Note: this is an updated game time

The pair of exhibition games are the first for the team during their fall training. The Cavaliers will also play at Bridgewater College on Sept. 30 and then close out the exhibition schedule on Sunday, Oct. 14 when they host Delaware at The Park.

The Cavaliers went 26-25 in 2012. The team returns the top hitter from last season, junior infielder Erica Cipolloni, and All-ACC second team pitcher Melanie Mitchell.

Note: A complete recap of the fall season will be published in late October at the end of Fall Ball. Individual recaps and stats for the scrimmages will not be posted.
