CHARLOTTESVILLE - The Virginia women's tennis team concluded its first tournament of the fall by winning a pair of titles at the UVa Fall Classic. First-year Julia Elbaba (Oyster Bay, N.Y.) won the A-1 singles fight and the duo of Li Xi (Kunming, China) and Stephanie Nauta (Galveston, Texas) won the A doubles flight.

Elbaba took the title in her first career collegiate event. She downed No. 63-ranked Jaklin Alawi of South Carolina 6-3, 6-0 in Sunday's final. The No. 4 ranked player in the ITA newcomer rankings didn't drop a set in her four victories on the weekend.

Xi and Nauta downed the Wake Forest team of Kathryn Talbert and Kasey Gardiner in Sunday's doubles final, 8-6.
